Boho Chic

This outfit goes out of my comfort zone in regards to the shirt and boots because:

  1. I didn’t want the shirt to look like it came from a pirate or 18th century film.
  2. The style and color of the boots duh.

Luckily, both pieces are quite versatile and I think that I made them work with this outfit. It had the whole boho, maybe hippie and chic style. The white shoulder bag with fringes also helped to define the whole style.

The cool thing about this skirt (which I love) is how many colors it has. By playing with my other accessories and items I can bring out whichever color I want to make the center of attention. This time, I brought out the blues with the hard-to-explain-probably-cobalt-blue shoes and navy blue watch.

Because lipstick is a must, I combined MAC’s Heroine with Covergirl’s Lipperfection Jumbo Gloss Balm in Watermelon Twist.

Do you think I made this outfit work? What would you change/add? And would you wear it?
