A Guide to Cheap & Meaningful Gifts

Buying gifts for a loved one can be tricky, especially if you’re on a budget or want to deviate from the usual and materialistic presents such as clothing, jewelry etc.

This is why I came up with a gift guide that has relatively cheap presents and are very meaningful things you can give to your sons/daughters/nephews/siblings etc. The range here is big and you can part off from the things I outlined and inspire yourself.

A Credit Card

A very meaningful gift can be a crefit card for your son/daughter. Of course, you would need to be sure that they deserve it and are ready to accept the responsability that comes with it. You can choose a prepaid card instead of credit to make it safer. The point is that giving a credit card tells the other person that you trust them and that they are more grownup and mature.

House Keys

This one goes along the same lines as the prior one. Giving a copy of your house keys signifies responsibility and maturity. Gifts like these make teens value the significance of things rather than their price.

You can use a tool like OfertaSimple.com here in Panama to get awesome discounts (and they’re true don’t worry) for gifts and special occasions. With a tool like this, you can give things such as:

Salon Makeover

A makeover, whether it is a haircut, extensions or painting your nails could really help someone if they are bored with their current looks and want to pamper themselves.

Spa Day

Treat your loved one to a day at a spa. Spas can be expensive, but you can take advantage of offers to relax and take a well-deserved rest beneficial to both your body and mind.

A trip! Either inside of Panama or a cruise, you can go on vacations together for a much cheaper price and give something more long-lasting and memorable than a shirt.

Surprise Snack Party

A party doesn’t have to be big to be fun. Surprise the person by holding a small and private gathering with your closest friends and/or family. Have a lot of fun snacks to make it different and entertaining. You’ll only have to pay for the food and you’ll have a lot of fun in return. Deviate from the usual Doritos and pizza and make original ones like guacamole and s’mores. You can even decorate with a DIY photobooth 🙂
