I never thought I would be cutting my hair so short in my junior year of high school. This was so spontaneous that I’m still surprised it even happened.
In May I donated my hair to the Pantene Beautiful Lengths program. It has been a rewarding experience and I want to invite you to donate your hair too if you have the possibility to do so. Remember – it’s just hair. It grows back. The changes you’ll make on someone else’s life will have a much greater impact than not being able to flip your long hair anymore.
I was definitely out of my comfort zone, not gonna lie. But everyday I got more accustomed to it and the positive comments from others make me feel better about my short hair 😛
Since my hair is curly and short now, it reminds me of 50s Glam.
My hair routine is actually the same one as with my long hair. I’ve also noticed how healthy it is. Apparently, healthier hair takes longer to dry after a shower and my hair is definitely taking much longer to dry💪
Also, after almost two months, my hair is already longer (which I’m even bummed about because I’m enjoying my short hair a lot).
Have you ever donated your hair?
