Las Americas Golden Tower Hotel Grand Opening

Hello everyone! The last event I attended was the inauguration of Las Americas Golden Tower Hotel on Tuesday, December 6th. Unluckily, Valentina didn’t go, but the event was still fun with since I had our mom, Sonia, for company and entertainment.

The newly constructed hotel is is one of its kind in a centric location, next to the Hard Rock Hotel, Paitilla Hospital and Cinta Costera. The architecture is super beautiful and luxurious.

One cool fact: the hotel has the only sensory deprivation room/flotarium in Panama City! (I think this is so cool, tbh)

The official hashtags of the event were #LaDolceNotte and #YourPlaceToShine. The point of the event was officially opening the hotel and getting to know its different floors and spaces.

This was the reason why they gave you a “passport” in the lobby – to visit each floor and get a stamp to then be able to participate in a raffle.

The event was formal and most people had on beautiful dresses and suits that fit the scenery and image of the place.

I wore a royal blue, high-low dress with a criss-cross pattern on the sides. Because the pattern had balck, I used black heels and a black clutch. The final result was a classy and elegant look.

I have to admit, I think my favorite part of the event was the food. One could try the restaurant that’s located in the lobby, which had food from all over the world divided into stations – all of them with different things ranging from hamburgers to ice-cream and salads.

It was obvious that the event was well-planned and many details of the event thought through. In the end, one can only hope that the hotel does as well as it aims for and more.

The color of the night: GOLD. At the entrance each woman was given a golden bracelet and balloon, and each man a flower pin
