Mini Beauty Haul – Finally Getting on Board the Beauty Sponge Craze…

Hello!💕 Today’s post is a haul of recent makeup purchases we have done and gifts we have received.

As you know, Valentina and I love makeup and all things beauty. The items below are products we are excited to try and have been wanting for a while now.

Makeup Sponge

This was a pleasant surprise! I hadn’t even touched a makeup sponge before but was surprised by the feel of this black sponge Valentina bought from Forever 21.

We used it wet and it indeed grew in size as they are supposed to, plus applied makeup evenly and smoothly.

The shape is very typical and the pointed tip helps get closer to the inner corners of the eyes.

I’m looking forward to using it more often – especially since they don’t absorb nearly as much liquid products as brushes!

Real Techniques Brushes

Flat Contour (301) brush from the Bold Metals Collection

Core Collection face brushes – Pointed Foundation, Buffing, Contour, and Detailer Brushes

Real Techniques, as always, being bomb.com💥 I really like their look, color, and the quality you get for a very affordable price.

They still need some playing around with to test them more but they are exactly what we needed with regard to face brushes and we’re loving them😍

The only other makeup brush we need is a good eye blending brush – any recommendations?

If you live in Panama they sell these at Steven’s!

L.A. Girl HD Pro Conceal

We got the shade Warm Honey (GC982) and it’s perfect for our skin tone!

Valentina used it once on me and I really liked the finish! This was our first time using a liquid bronzer and I was impressed with the difference with its powder counterparts.

I felt it looked more natural but didn’t fade away or “disappear” – the color was visible but subtle enough, plus the application precise.

I also want to try the green one to color correct redness in the face! #ColorTheory

If you live in Panama they sell them at Estampa!
